Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Would love to do a viable hin spear build using monkeygrip. I believe it gets 1.5x damage as a monkeygrip spear, and just sounds cool thinking of a hin flying around slashing her way through enemies. Anyway, here are a couple of my ideas.

Teo, everyone gets the 1.5 Strength multiplier with spears. Halflings can get it with a Rapier and Shortsword.

The third build:
Epic Strength requirement has been lowered to 21 Strength, on top of the Mighty Rage and 25 BAB requirement. Barbarian should always end up with an even strength. +10 from Epic, and +2 from item. You cannot get more in this game.

The second build:
Damage could be:
1d10 (Spear)
+ 4 (Enchantment Bonus)
+ 6 (Epic Weapon Specialization.)
+ 2 (Melee Weapon Mastery)
+ 20 (Improved Power Attack with Frenzied Berserker)
+ 13 (Strength modifier, with a +3 Strength item)
= 50.5~

The first build:
If you switch the focus from spears to rapiers, you would get something better and you could even use Deadly Defense because it is not the same feat as on the builder.

If he went rapiers then he wouldn't need the +4 deflection spear I have with his name on it

Does that spear have +4 EB?

Anyhow, with Duelist builds, go for duelist 7 and max out Parry and you can get +5 Deflection. (Don't stack with other sources.)

Then why is it in the first build? Stand in feat for something?

First build has finesse as a requirement for duelist.

What I am trying to ask, is why does your build have Deadly Defense? Spear is not a finesse weapon, and hence it should not work with Deadly Defense.

Still haven't picked a winner. May just go with a monster F/WM/AK max strength think. Barbarian is kind of buggy.

Or could add AK to build 2... F12/FB5/NWN3/AK10 would likely be quite good.

You would lose some epic feats, hence you would have to drop Disarm and Improved Disarm for example. Then I do not think we have Overwhelming Critical on the server, and Improved Critical is bit of a wasted feat since you can just purchase 'Wands of Keen' from the basement of Blushing mermaid for about 7k a piece. You would not be able to get Weapon Supremacy so that frees another feat. Thus you could drop a total of 5 feats.

Now, by going Fighter 12/Anointed Knight/Warrior of Dorkness 10/Frenzied Berserker 5/Bodyguard 4, you would lose 4 fighter bonus feats, but gain that 1d4 elemental damage or 1d6 Massive Criticals, not to mention Toughness and Blindfight feats, and bonus feats at levels 9 and 10 that could be spent on Great Strength for example.

Thus, I believe that mechanically it would be an improvement. (You might even fit in Steadfast Determination somewhere in your build.)
