Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

There is a cloak model that I believe only females have access to currently via the appearance kit. I'm at work so I will have to post a picture of it later, but to try and describe it the cloak is narrow and falls almost straight down the back. It's more of a cape than a cloak, to be fair. It's also tintable, and if I'm not mistaken it may be the default model of the Gram's paladin cloak.

I'd just really like to see this made available for male characters if possible

That looks like the red-wizard robe cloak. If you want it, remove all items, browse through the old appearance changer, and the use the kit to dye it.

It's not the cloak that has the red wizard emblem on it, I don't think. There are 2 in the old appearance changer that I know of. One red, and one dark grey. They are like the standard long cloaks though. This one is different.

This one has four clasp pins on the shoulderblades and does not come across the nape of the neck. It also has some clipping issues depending on the type of armour one is wearing.

That is the Red-Wizard cloak model, it was used by Safiyi in Mask of the Betrayed expansion. It looks a bit different on males.

Hmn... It used to have tintable version in the appearance changer, old and new. But it seems there is no tintable version for male in either of the two appearance changers. The cloak has number 55 in the old appearance changer.

Thus it feels like wrong cloak model is used for male.

Oh, I see. I thought you were referring to the red wizard cloaks with the big symbols on them in BGTSCC.

Is there any hope of getting this cloak made available for males once more?

So it is Cloak 55 in the old appearance changer for both male and females. However, it looks drastically different for female models than it does for males, and its non-tintable for males as well.

Done, submitted to Media Forum.
Males now have a cloak model, rigged onto their skeleton. Made textures for male and female both tintable.

Female model = Replacer
Male model = New

Eliminated clipping issues on the male side of things. Seems to fit better with both armor and cloth, now that I redid the model a bit.
