Musical Instruments

Browsing Maltz, which has basic musical instruments, I found myself annoyed that all instruments require the character to be a Bard or Harper Agent. Really? That makes no sense. They are plain instruments with no enchantments. Can this be removed please...?
I'm aware some instruments (except the lyre) can be equipped via PC Tools but the character doesn't move and play when you walk them around if using that method.
Furthermore, I recall DM Ghost and maybe other DMs too selling simple +5 perform musical instruments on random NPCs. I would very much like to see a static NPC added to somewhere like Baldur's Gate -and- Sshamath where everyone can buy musical instruments like that. I pointed out to DM Ghost that when the NPC was selling the instruments, only those on surface could acquire them, and one also needed to be online to have a chance to. Mind, I'm not critizing the idea of DM NPCs selling unique items but rather proposing that a great many others would want to purchase them that I'd like to see a more static NPC. There are few musical instruments that are actually useful and adding some to merchants would be nice.
