Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

There is a very beautiful town of Uruk Lurra. It is a good starting place for any orc, because it has access to low level dungeons, to Soubar and to the Upperdark (and I am not even talking about how cool it is according to lore). But when I created a gray orc character, I was unable to start there. Perhaps I didn't see this option, and if it doesn't exist — why don't you add this?

I think, and I repeat I think, this is because you are intended to discover UL it is like why elves don't start in DA or EDE.

One way to start in uruk lurra is to take nexus to eastern farm. With zero xp run directly into graveyard and get killed by skellie then take myrkul to uruk lurra.. set UL as home and you are off.

Actually this should be implemented. I actually find the idea of full sized Orcs running around the BG completely ridiculous. They should be KoS with Uruk Luura set in stone as their starting town.

Didn't exist because nobody thought about it, should work for next update. It is optional starting location I precise.

Nope. Grey orcs can enter BG and other civilized towns only when AFK tag is up (in order to support questing). They continue to require rp (and why is it so hard to rp some hostility? ) when not questing grey orcs should not be anywhere where guards are found without DM oversight.

Erm yeah, they are questing which kills immersion completely. I just ignore them, since the right RP action would be to charge and ask questions later.

I do not disagree and this is why I harp on XP pool from time to time. If The same XP questing could be earned weekly while doing other things, be it fishing, killing mobs or RP then there would be no need for an OOC mechanic to allow Grey Orcs to gain the same XP as non-monster races. However, the questing mechanic is currently the only support we have for gaining XP at a reasonable rate in Epic levels. Hopefully one of our fantastic dev team will address this in the near future (unless he gets bothered by me poking him occasionally).

Where is this town at? Or is it a secret? I noticed a map opened up near Dragonspear recently to the misty forest is it perhaps buried in there somewhere?

Misty forest is a 3-4 years old map by now, you could always access it through the high moors, I just added a transition from Dragonspear

As I understand the new update is coming soon. Will it contain Uruk Lurra as a starting location?

Can we have the ability to pick this as a starting locations for half-orcs as well as Gray orcs?

This cool feature was implemented in the past, but then turned off due to bugs and never re-enabled again. It would be cool to have it again, especially with the current numbers of active orc players!
