Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I noticed when trying to change the appearance of my character's boots two things happen:

1) The desired style isn't available to my character. I had a another character change the style of my characters boots to the preferred style (just to be sure it was being done correctly). They appeared perfectly fine on the other character but when the boots were transferred back my character the appearance wasn't the same. I'm not sure if certain new styles are available only to certain races or if they're just limited to new/recent character builds.

2) When I remove the boots from my character her lower legs are no longer visible to me (but they are visible to other characters). This is also new, as it's never happened prior to the last update - not sure if the updates somehow made the older character builds buggy.

1) This might be a race thing. For instance, if you use the appearance kit you can access all of the new hairstyles for planetouched races that normally can't access them via character creation. However, other races like dwarves and half-orcs can not access them this way. Some armor appearances may be like this as well, I think.

2) This one I am not sure about! It seems like some graphical bug, but I haven't a clue sadly.
