A favorite item of a young wizard at the Academy of Shapers and Binders at Tyamount, these subtle cloth bracers allowed their user to win more than a few dangerous magical battles, disposing of numerous powerful rivals in the process. It was not long before instructors learned of the items, but they took care not to do anything about it, certain the problem would take care of itself. And truth be told, they did not have to wait long; the young wizard was found dead of a strange and wasting sickness not long after defeating a chief rival, the slender bracers stolen off his wrists. Though the items were likely used again, the young wizard's death proved the folly of relying on a single magical object for victory instead of skill- and ruthlessness.
