Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I understand the Pit Fiend isn't exactly meant to be solo'd but the Rock Golem and the High Priestess doesn't seem adequate. There are are transition points everywhere that lead no where that could easily be turned into a simple boss dungeon.

I haven't levelled to a point where I can check, but do the Wilds have a boss yet? How awesome would a Drider boss be?!?! That used to be two areas of just getting your a$$ handed to you by driders.

No boss in the wilds as of yet. Still just two areas of getting wrecked by angry driders. There are quite a few chests/lootable corpses in the 2nd (from the UD) area, though, so that's nice.

A couple of suggesitons:

- Drider Boss
- Illithid Boss
- Myconid Boss
- Beholder Boss
- Troglodyte Boss
- Duergar Boss (beyond the two monks in Duergar Compound)

There is an illithid elder brain boss by the illithid compound. Never been there myself. Don't think it's a popular option? Maybe the gains aren't good enough?

Loot off the illithid hive is decent, but due to the makeup/dispels/mob blasts the area really is a party/roleplay grind area rather then somewhere to solo for most builds.

I suspect this is one reason why the lovely area of the Illithid Hive is underused.

Some dragons would awesome too, it is in the name. shadow dragon would be doubly awesome.

that is really too bad. cus that sounds awesome. might need to make a trip down south of heaven.

There is a Dragon technically down there. It is the Dracolich in the undead area, I thought there was another somewhere but I cannot recall atm.

That's like a CR 15 Dragon though.

its in the crypts basement but i wouldnt call it a dracolich, way too weak for that

and you really dont want a beholder boss

the ones that were just CR5 can mess you up, the 30 CR one? there is no fighting, there is only death

I would like to have the option to go fight a boss than not at all. Where is this Illithid boss you all speak of? The mines outside the Duergar compound? I have not seen it.

The illithid boss, aka the braintacles, isn't really a boss worth doing lootwise, you get three chests behind it, you can't melee it and the boss itself doesn't drop anything. I dont mind the area, in fact i think the area is really, really cool, but the boss itself is lackluster.

Catch an osquip to Mist Lake then from there to Illithid Hive. My 30 level bard can't even solo that place (CR 18 dungeon) without using at least 10-15 heal kits along the way, but the boss is fun. Requires a ranged weapon and/or ranged/aoe spells.

UD could use a dragon, shadow or even a silver one like in BG2 (since, you know, evil drow!).

You have the Netherese Ruins too! its great fun, a couple of magma golems and a tri-spawn arcanist ghost party is all you need for a great start to the day!
