Outdoor leaf holder/rune vendors.

There are no vendors that sell leaf holders and teleportation runes that can be accessed outdoors or by masked charactes.

I checked:
1. Vendors outside of BG.
2. Vendors in Soubar.
3. Vendors in ROaringshore.
4. Vendors in Nashkel.
5. High Hedge wizard.

Nobody sells teleportation runes and leaf holders.

So, a character can't enter gated cities for some reason, no teleportation for them.

I think it would be great to add those soubar vendors and to high hedge wizard inventory.

Even better idea would be to give spellcasters "make rune/leaf holder" feat which will consume gold and spawn the damn thing in the inventory. Or make mark rune/mark leaf spawn required item in the inventory.

Simply adding the items to shops is the least amount of work, of course.

The issue is that Runes and Leaf Holders, are just place holders that do not exist in PnP and are used for Teleport because the game code doesn't like the idea of the spell and that is what is used to make it work.

They should just be sold at any vendor like healing kits.

What should be sold is a component for Dimensional lock and charge like 10,000 gold to use that spell.

Just curious, why charge so much for dimensional lock? Is it really OP or something? I haven't ever had a reason to cast it so idk.

Dimensional Lock is that kind of spell that can last 30 minutes to an hour, and prevent an entire zone (map, area or whatever you want to call it) from being teleported into.

You still lose the 850 or 2000 gold for teleport cost and burn the teleport spell.


People do this on purpose to troll others. Make it more expensive to use for PvP specific events or DM events, it is now a more concise tactical tool. Average trolls will be less inclined to use it willy nilly.

Cast Detect Magic first. I'd report anyone I see who casts Dimensional Lock after a DM event, for OOC reasons. I've only seen this once though and I don't know who cast it. They can be removed with a Mords.

There are 5 or 6 merchants in soubar. None of them have runes/holders.
