Gold Chests

I was doing a loot run earlier, it seems even after the server reset, my char was not able to loot the gold loot in Troll Claws saying I just looted it earlier (know that I did my last loot run yesterday). I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it seems that when the server resets, we could reloot the gold without waiting 6 hours. Probably the timer in my character is bugged or something. I was able to loot the chests fine.

24 hour reset per account on them I think.

They recently changed the timer to work though the resets as well, I believe. So you've most likely looted the chests too recently. Unfortunately resets do not reset that timer anymore

Yes, the 6 hour timer is 6 hours regardless of resets. This addresses the issue in those times when we have issues where the server resets more often and normalizes looting so that one group of PC's doesn't monopolize a given area. In return it does reduce the timer by ~33% since the server resets every 9 hours, so for those players who are in game a lot they can return to an area 33% faster than they could before the change.

This seems to be intentionally introduced change - your looting timer persists through server resets. I actually think this feature is cool.

Also, in case of gold piles and not chests your looting attempts are tracked by your CD-key and not character, apparently.

I believe the timer is set to six hours, and the chests say how much time left till you can loot the chest again.
