Stormbolt Feat

I noticed that when I right-click an enemy and cast stormbolt, the range of the stormbolt doesn't reach the enemy. I have to move in a couple steps closer to make sure my stormbolt hits the target. Seems like this feat has some range problems.

The range is only listed as 20 feet, so I imagine you do have to be pretty close...

Type of Feat: Reserve
Prerequisite: Ability to cast 3rd-level spells.
Use: Selected.
The electrical energy contained within your magic rages inside you, begging to be released. As long as you have a electricity spell of 3rd level or higher available to cast, you can fire a 20-foot line of electricity as a standard action. This bolt deals 1d6 points of electricity damage per level of the highest-level electricity spell you have available to cast. A successful Reflex save halves damage.
Trigger Spells: Arc of Lightning, Call Lightning, Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Storm of Vengeance, Scintillating Sphere, Call Lightning Storm, Energized Shield, Weapon of Energy, Orb of Electricty
Gameplay Notes
Sneak attack damage applies to the appropriate class(es): Such as Arcane Trickster.

Maybe this video can explain more...

You can see around 30sec, that the stormbolt is not reaching...Is this intentional?

First thing, please, type /mpredict if you are using the client extension. It will make your life better by not having your character bounce everywhere.
Now, I am not 100% certain, but that distance looked like it was 30 feet. Thus, if the spell can be cast at 30 feet distance, but its effect is only 20 feet, I can see why it failed to connect. You could test this by manually moving your character close enough that he no longer triggers movement when you use your Stormbolt.

Just type it in our usual chat window. Also what is that missing TGA icon in your hotbar ?

It's a custom macro for a spell combo.
like /setmacro 1 /cast etc.

If you're tired of typing /mpredict each time you start the game from the client, create a .txt document (Notepad) in your My Documents directory and name the document autocmds. Inside it, type /mpredict. Now the game will always load with that command enabled.

Oh, look, it is a random wild icon. Someone catch it and put it in the '.tga' leash.

Thank you, however the problem is not the icon as much as knowing which icon the client extension refers to, which is probably none (and then you would have to recompile client extension just to get your icon) so .. this icon will probably not be used (for that at least

).
Also, on the topic : fixed for next update.

Thanks! I've been looking for that
