I was wondering if it would be possible to use more skillchecks in various areas.
As I understand it, there's only one spot (in all of the server that i've yet explored) that does a skillcheck for armor or weapon crafting, that same spot for healing (I think?) and strength, and only one or two spots (one major, a couple minor before the area changes) that would do survival. I THINK there's one spot that does an intimidate check, but only during certain time periods (not sure what those are.)
What about any other areas, or other skils? Is this possible? Are more skill checks in current regions a possibility, or am I having a daydream?

It's totally doable and desireable, more things to do beyond killing monsters is a must. Time will tell.

Intimidate, diplomacy are being checked in some quests, and by most merchants if you approach them masked. Few dialogues in BG also have intimidate checks.Wandering_Woodsman wrote:I was wondering if it would be possible to use more skillchecks in various areas.

In the past, when Boarskyr had epic bandits of doom, it was also running two intimidate checks. Very high DC ones.
There were couple of areas in UD that roll for survival. And the most versatile item on the server - gibberling heart - rolls multiple different checkes for several skills.

We need a gibberling heart to drop from every boss, of course. not the exact thing per say but you get the idea.

Plus more of the harvestable parts from kills, like troll skins, mini horns, etc; but from a wider variety of enemies.
