Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So i'm a bit confused as a pure lvl 17 sorcerer has access to level 8 spells where a 10 sorcerer/7 arcane scholar does not? It was my understanding taking a level of this prestige class counts equally as taking a level of sorcerer/wizard.

Sorcerers get lvl9 spells at level18. Wizards get it at 17.

Wizards gain new spells at odd levels, sorcerers at even.

That's exactly my point as my sorcerer at lvl 17 only has access to level 6 spells.

how many levels of sorcerer you got? And what is your CHA

6 sorcerer

4 blood magus

7 arcane scholar of candlekeep

I only have access to 6th level spells.

Alright. You said arcanesScholar/sorcerer

You didnt take spell progression on the 1st level of blood magus did you? You picked another feat?

To be clear. If you dont pick Blood Magus Innate Progression at Blood Magus level1, you dont get to progress the sorcerers ( or wizards ) CL

I'm not entirely sure as I RcR my character and I had the most prevalent feats in mind. it's quite the possibly I overlooked the spell progression as I wouldnt have considered that feat selection to cause each level invested to not progress my spells.

At level 1 BM gets an extra feat which you are supposed to pick the BM spell progression. Due to the 2da file limitations there are other feats on that list. How did you explain the extra feat you got at BM level1?

Now you can either RCR or pm the DM/Admin team for a 100% rcr. No delevels should happen.

I was waiting to take toughness at the earliest level possible... I would assume that feat popped up when I gained the first bm level
