One of the better ones is the Wizard's Focusing Staff from Halbazzer Drin, Sorcerous Sundries. Gives a few bonus spell slots (2 & 3 iirc), +2 conc/spellcraft I think and electrical VFX (with 1d4 electrical dmg). The epic version is somehow better but I've never seen one.
Using two Greater Mage's ally daggers from Gullykin will net you more bonus spell slots though (albeit expensive).

I'm curious as well, haven't really found anything special that I'd consider using for a staff either. Be nice to find one with some high level slots on them.

The only stuff with higher than 3rd-4th level slots is RIG (excepting the Ring of Wizardry V purchasable from the Thayan Enclave), and I've never seen anything higher than 7th.
