Is it possible to rip the clothes off of NPCs?

No not like that!

I was wondering if it was possible to take the custom robes you see on certain mage NPCs in the OC (and one even in BG itself) and make them into a wearable appearance?

For instance, the armor that the bouncer wears outside of the Helm & Cloak in Baldur's Gate has a really interesting look. Could that look be mounted onto player models or whatever, or is this something not worth the effort required?

Bouncer outside of helm and cloak is one of the minor OC antagonists. Meaning it might not be available as separate thing. Whether he actually was available as a split model or not, I do not know.

anything on the server can be put into the changer, but depending on what it is, it wont happen because they arent going to want people dressing like certain NPCs

Well obviously I wouldn't want anyone dressing like iconic NPCs, but I'm just thinking of a few appearances off-hand that are NPC-only, and would be cool looks for players to have as well. I'm at work now, but I'll try and post some screenshots when I get home.
