Let's use the spoiler tag for any spoilers since idk if everyone has seen it just yet, but man I loved the new season of Stranger Things! I took a day off work and binge-watched it all with pizza, root beer and ice cream.

Family and I watched up to episode 4 so far. Can not wait to watch the rest soon. Loved this show from day 1 of watching it. Hoping it continues on for a few seasons before going.

I have to admit; I'm quite interested in a bit of foreshadowing given.
The song "Every Breath You Take" (the ultimate stalker song) by the Police was playing when El and Mike had their dance. She already showed her jealousy/possessiveness hen she saw him talking with Max (aka when she caused Max's wipeout). Going to be interesting if they pick that up and run with it.

Just finished season two and I liked it a lot. Maybe not as much as season one, but still really good. Got to appreciate the nostalgic value. I had completely forgot about Trapper Keepers till I saw Nancy walking around the school hallways carrying one. Hopefully this minor scandal won't delay or effect the third season.

Being it's his first offense, and he's on a hit show, likely he'll get a slap on the wrist and a stern warning. Hollywood seems to have a bit of other things to be focusing on right now than one actor on a hit show.

Just finished it. Enjoyed it as much as the first. My buddy said he tried to watch it and it was too "Goonies"-esque for him. Second season seemed more focused on everyone than just one group so for those who don't want something focused on the kids, season 2 is better for that.
I saw similar formula moves from the first one:
Father figure for El. Expanded w/ dual mother figures. Will went into the upside down in Season 1. This time it went into him. Bad guy high school kid was there (who just went away after he got cowed by his sister). Integration of D&D which I love.
It seemed to go a LOT faster than the first season.

There is a rumor about how things came to be that, if it is true, would be rather twisted.
There is a rumor that the setting/events of ST is directly connected to Stephen King's "The Mist", and that the creatures and the Upside Down are all due to this.

That would make sense. I read that yeeeaaarrss ago along with one of the only short stories that literally startled me as I read it. I think it was
Skeleton Crew. The Jaunt also creeped me out.
