On the 31st of Leaffall 1353 DR an unwashed human man wearing rags walked from the city and out to the market in the Eastern Farmlands. Under his arm he carried a wooden sign. In his one hand he carried a hammer and a scroll that was nailed to the sign. He proceeded to stand by the sign calling out to folk passing by, the more the better those appearing seasoned travelers.

"Robe's sold for a hundred!" declared Morn first of all, and presented the Robe of Blending to the Dwarf. "And here you both are," he continued, presenting Brualot and the hooded woman with each their Headband of Intellect.

The items sold he struck off from the list.

As no bidding war seemed to be forthcoming, the scruffy salesman sighed dramatically. "Off to the inn I suppose..."

He brought his things with him, sign and all, and went to the inn to ask for a man matching his buyer's description.

Edit: He later returned to set up his things with a new note. A few measly items left to offer.
