Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I've never seen this before, so I'm puzzled.

My new dwarf is/was wearing a Cloak of the Gram Mouse and a Ring of the Woodland Power, but at Log In, they are both auto-unequipped.

Now, both items are Class Req'd, as in Paladin and Druid respectively. But my Toon has UMD of 13 pts, so shouldn't he be able to not only use those items—which he CAN equip—but also keep them equipped through a Server Reset?

Depends, what's the breakdown of your 13 UMD score ?

I think it is 11 base + 1 from CHA + another 1 from Idon'tknowwhere. Is there some Skill Synergy going on I don't know about?

I also get the Items unequipped when I change the Appearance of any gear in my toon's Inventory.

If you spent at least 4 points in spellcraft then you get +2 UMD, it's probably that.
