Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Alright so I have a character who is going to be fed into the RCR machine tomorrow after work. Out will pop a drow. He will only be a lowly level 5 or so and the gear being handed down to him will be meant for a different class altogether. I am hoping that I can find a few people currently playing down there around the same time as me to join up with and show me the ropes. I really don't know anything about the lingo, where to grind, or where to congregate for RP. The benefits of helping me out are that my character will maybe one day be a useful pawn be a front line fighter that works well with the ever so popular casters.

Sadly i dont play a character in the ud at that level, but if you have questions about the layout there i'm ready to answer. I play Xeyn agrach dyrr, so feel free to shoot me a tell.

the mazes will be in your nightmares for months... years.. but at least i can give you something that helped me out with the lingo... make a notepad with commonly used words/phrases.

I have a low level Drow which a build I was just playing with for giggles. My next highest is like 13 and then I have one at or near 30 i cant remember. So if you see me on just poke me in RP!

Is the UD active during this time?

I'm usually on after work in some fashion. Which is about 4/5PM EST, but my schedule will be changing here soon because of work so I may be on earlier or late. (Sucks)

Activity in the UD is usually about the time I am off work sometimes before, I haven't kept track the past few days to get a better idea.

I forgot the character being rcred has stuff at auction :/

To piggyback off this thread-- I'm a new player considering making a drow. What is the best way to get involved in the Underdark?

Get in touch with one of the active guilds. It's fairly difficult to find random RP (I have had more luck in Rockrun than Sshamath), so getting involved with a guild helps a lot.

Right now the Bregan D'aerthe is active. Quellar Zau'afin is also active, I think.

Whisper those you see in the underdark, i'm sure they will(me included) take you with open arms, oocly ofc

Yes, to get started just send some UD folks some tells and see if they'd be up for RP. That's how I began out.
