I'm trying to acquire a pack horse from Farmer Todd. I click on "Let's talk pack horses." and nothing happens.

I'm getting this same issue. I might have to try at the other places they sell horses.

My pack horse snarls and growls. I love it.
I guess it's the recycled some code from some familiar dog or wolf.
The pack horse is quite nice, being as horses are totally fickle and runs at first smell of blood. It takes a good deal of time to travel with a horse through wild areas. At every encounter when the "master" deals or takes damage (it seems since it happens when I bash a chest too) the horse runs wild and have to be coached to join again, repeat and repeat. Which leads to all possible upgrading of horses like an item called warhorse training (don't run like crazy at danger), enchanted bardings (armor class enhancing) and horse shoes of speed (harder to catch up for baddies)!

Love the RP now being generated from the presence of horses! Now I have to think about parking every time I visit a new settlement because I don't want to be a careless animal owner. It's great!
Minor suggestion: can Paul Imposteur have a look at the horse models and see if he can create a donkey/mule for incorporation with the packhorse system? Donkeys/mules can have the advantage of not innately fleeing combat or otherwise being better at entering dungeons, but obviously carry far less than a strong packhorse.
But awesome work by the team.

If there is a timer for them it seems a bit low for the cost of the gimmick horse.
If there isnt a timer we have some kind of bug that need testing.
Spending 5000 gold at the farmer only to have the pack horse go poof on you when barely into the sewers seem a bit shorttimed, well at least for the coinpressed.
Arguably living horses does not belong in sewers, but thats beside this point no?

did you try going back to the farmer and having him send someone to retrieve your horse? It's supposed to be permanent unless it dies.

Whatever happened that did work.
Any chance at Pack Lizards or Osquip for the UD?

Where did he say your horse was found? They really shouldn't be unsummoned for any reason besides death or stable. Did it get spooked by combat? Was it removed from your party list? A little more QC information would be helpful here.
