Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hello everyone,

My Druid Summon Creature spells that I spontaneously summon do not benefit from this feat. I took it at level 3 (I think?) and sometimes I see it on their portrait to the right, but only for about 2 or 3 seconds after the end of the summon, then disappears.

The Feat, Augment Summoning is supposed to give my summoned creatures a +4 to Strength and a +4 to Constitution for the time they are summoned. The prerequisite is Spell Focus (Conjuration), which I took at level 1.

Although I haven't yet tried a Summon spell without Spontaneous Casting yet, so I suppose I will try that to see it if works, although altogether I think it should work both ways.

The augment summoning effect is in fact applied. The stat boost is simply applied to the base stats of the summon, which means that you can still buff it with spells afterward.

Are you sure? I managed to get a glimpse of one of my summons while it had the auto-boost stats right after the summoning, and after they cleared those attribute stats went down by one point.

It works. 100% certain.

Yes, what you saw happens to all Augmented Summons, just most are not seeing it because they don't have the Examine page open.

Find someone with a Toon that has the same Summons spell as you, but not the Augment Summoning feat, and ask them to read off the stats to you—that'll show you the difference!
