Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

There is a word-of-mouth traveling from north to south, along the Sword Coast. It is heard by caravan driver, and merchant, and especially...the dwarven kin. They hear of a Call made from the alliance of Kraak Helzak, dwarven kin lodged firmly in the mountains of the Troll Claws.

The alliance of clans within Kraak Helzak do call out—in this time of the Awakening of the Thunder Blessed—the hammers ring hard upon the anvil, a clang that resonates with all stout-blooded kin. This Call, spoken in clear words, says:

The gates to Kraak Helzak are open to the Clans that venture upon the Sword Coast. The alliance of clans within Kraak Helzak, banners under King Battlehammer, seek to establish a new Charter with the rise of the Thunder Blessed kin, those that have reached adulthood and seek support, as well, the older generations of Dwarf that have carried the wander and adventurer spirit for a long time before now. Recent excavations in the mountain have brought new wealth to Kraak Helzak, and, a gateway to the Upperdark has been established. As well, the rise of sworn enemies of the Dwarven faith, the Orc blooded and the Dark Elves, requires a raising of armed forces willing to blockade and defend the region—both above and below ground—that connects to the Fortress

All are invited in the coming days to seek the fortress of Kraak Helzak, and be welcomed into the alliance, to the benefit of all stone-favored beings.

It is also said that a recent arrival to the alliance, a shamanistic medium to the Keeper of Secrets under the Mountain, a Thunder Blessed dwarf by the name of Hurgon Wyrmstone, has been given role and mission to guide the alliance in the further exploration of the mining and Upperdark gates of Kraak Helzak.

Nonetheless, the caravan at Baldur's Gate East Farmlands has been tasked to quickly provide transit to all stone-favored kin—for Kraak Helzak does open its gates to gnomes and earth genasi—to the north, when requested.

A moment of initiation and celebration will occur at the 'Holy Anvil' in the coming days, where new oaths to the King shall be made, and old oaths renewed. All Stout Folk that wish to pledge banners to Kraak Helzak are called into ceremony, and to witness a re-blessing of the actual Anvil, itself.

It is said that others than the Stout Folk are welcome, such as the Gnomish and those of "earthly" influence, to either join in or simply witness the Stone Rights and recognition of the Thunder Blessing.

A first oath-taking ceremony is performed within Kraak Helzak. Two Stouts pledge their allegiance, one placed on the Axe, and one placed on the Staff.
Such an event called for a celebratory keg cracking, taken within the Royal Brewery (because why go farther than the source!).

Like metals drawn to the magnate stone, more Stout Folk fell into a roaming party of well-"watered" dwarves, cleansing the Troll Claws...until they roamed far enough to slay the Troll King.
