can palemasters greater undead be scaled with CL?

i dont think it does, so from what i hear, it is pretty awesome at level 20, but by level 25 it gets wasted in a minute. And if not power, at least scale how long it lasts. it saus it lasts 1 hour per pm level, but in this case, i think it means 1 hour gametime, not real time.
and finally, (maybe its already been done, been gone for two years), any way we could get a choice of the greater undead? Honestly, id be happy with a random greater indead, instead of always elite vampire.
