Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So, I was muling items over via the storage system in Farmlands (from mule to mule) and obviously used the disguise system to do it. Unfortunately I forgot to take off the disguise when I wanted to switch with the result that I'm now missing a character (the one with the disguise).

If I had low level stuff on I'd not bothered writing this, but the lost character did have some rather rare and valuable items on him. Is there any way to "separate" the two characters?

Also, I haven't logged on the remaining mule character in fear it may complicate things.

Log in with your mule and disguise the name, log off. Then your other character should, hopefully, 'reappear' in your vault with your mule's name. Log in and remove your disguise.

The character that has the disguise is the one that is missing. I'll try use a disguise on the existing one and log out to see if that somehow works. Thanks for the advice though!

If you have two characters in your vault with the same name, it will only show one of them although they're both technically still there. Hopefully that works to get your lost character back!

It worked... with the funny side-effect that the characters have swapped names.
