Description:
Strong and often silent, Laura stands roughly five and a half feet tall with dark brown hair braided back behind her head. Her features are striking, with a strong nose, pointed jaw and thin lips. Her brows arch at their edges to frame her frosty eyes.
Her armor is composed of heavy chain mail with light plating, dyed a charcoal black, upon her left breast is inscribed a crimson symbol of a trio of lightning bolts. As well, embedded at the back of either of her gloves is a silver coin.

Background:
Hailing from the farmlands resting between Neverwinter and the Mere of Dead Men, Laura grew up no stranger to wild lands free from law. Where adventurers and vigilantes were often called upon to deliver justice upon foes too great for town militia's to handle. She had a rather average childhood, growing up under the roof of a blacksmith, her father taught her abound tending swords and armor as she grew fond of combat.

She won local tournaments two out of four years she competed, placing high otherwise. Her style in combat was very raw but tight, between her fair appearance and skill with a blade it was only a matter of time before she attracted more attention from the region. And so she did, on her sixteenth birthday she was summoned to Neverwinter by one knight Sir Lothal Grinor, a man of Grimjaws who wanted to take Laura under his wing as his second squire.

Laura departed for the city through tearful goodbyes to her father, taking what supplies she needed before being escourted back to Neverwinter to serve as a squire, and eventually perhaps even a knight. It was here she refined her skill with a blade, coming to understand the multifaceted uses of fencing with her sword to pierce armor joints by bracing her hand mid-way across the blade. Techniques involving mordhau were also taught to her, as well as piety and honor, reading and writing in Chondothan.

Sir Grinor however would come to be murdered by dagger in the fall of her third year as a squire. Outraged, Laura would go to her fellow student Thomas Mossbrook and call upon him to hunt down and avenge their fallen teacher. Mossbrook declined and wished her luck in her search, knowing that he had all but completed his training, and would likely be sworn in among the knighthood with expedience with Sir Grinor's death. Laura however abandoned it all, turning away from the teachings of Tyr, further infuriated by Mossbrook's seeming indifference, she prepared her arms and set out south, following rumors of Sir Grinor's murder.

Her passion for vengeance and justice fueled her, her prayers turned from the triad to a name she knew well from her childhood, to Assuran. And as she dispatched justice upon the wicked in her travels, so to did a fire stir in her soul, driving her forward with inspired fury.

Goals: Laura's most prominent goal is avenging the knight she was once squired to, Sir Lothal Grinor, whose murderer she had tracked to around Baldur's Gate before losing him. Otherwise she travels the land visiting vengeance on behalf of those who might be too weak to otherwise get justice themselves.

-Anything to do with Hoar or vengeance generally catches her attention.
