What should be Poison Saves are made as Negative Energy

I've noticed that some saves for Poison are being made as negative Energy. This isn't right, right?!?

For example, the Vermin Shape of a Cavestalker's poison bite is a Negative Energy save. And, the scorpions in the High Hedge also are a negative energy save.

Kinda screwed up Saves for a PC with Venom/Poison Immunity! As well, the mobs may be getting better results saving against Negative Energy, than poison...are are these both more or less the same?

That's a bit interesting. How does Deathward/Shadowshield work against such 'poison' attacks if it's coming up with Negative Energy?

The scorps/venshapebite could be jumping the gun in the calcs?
Normal poisons roll Fort save Poison, fail just applies a negative mod to ability mod.
Maybe theres some wires crossed as to what 'negative' bonus is?

Looks like an oversight more than anything.
