Pious Templar is not live and is not likely to be, last I heard.

Oh, wow. It's been up there for years.
Well I guess that nullifies the next question: do you have to use your deities favored weapon?
why is it still in game? They took down flaming fist and chaernag malthra a while ago.

It is still a working project in theory.
In practice in cannot be completed unless it is implemented as a class kit for paladins and blackguards, or if Rasaels custom spell framework is implemented.

Yeah, why isn't the custom spell framework not in yet? It sounded awesome.

It is awesome, but suffers ease of use issues which as yet don't have a solution. As is it you can't put spells in quick slots so anything besides buff and bash casting is untenable.
