A rather cheerful air genasi has been seen showing an old book for sale in front of the Friendly arm inn ,
occasionally entertaining or annoying the gathered with some music from his flute .
"I found this here tome and have been told it may be worth quite a bit ,
so whoever offers the most gets it" he would say ,
"I'll be around every day until it's sold and
whichever bid stands unchallenged for two days wins.
Ohh and I have wiped some of the dust of it , hope that doesn't devalue it" .

An elf stopped by and shook his head sadly upon hearing about the dust.
"No dust? It is a shame but I will have to start the bids at 50 bags then. Tell me at least a few of the pages are stained and torn apart?"

a tall, dark and thin tiefling woman would offer for the tome. "seven-dee bags o' pieces fer de book." she seems to be in a hurry and taps her foot impatiently waiting for a response from the genasi to respond. scanning the area as she waits.

The genasi would reply: "I don't know , haven't looked through the book myself yet , and the curiosity is killing me but alas I could use the coins".

The genasi would replay:"Seventy bags if I understood correctly , that's the top bid so far , it's yours if no one else bids more in the next two days".

"That's it , two days have passed , with no further bids , the book is yours", he would hand the dusty tome over for the agreed upon sun of money .
