Halfling TWF Barbarian

Just Curious.

Has anyone tried Strongheart Halfling (or human) whirlwind rage barbarian with deadly defense and ice troll beserker:

Barbarian 20 / Dread Pirate 6 / Tempest 4.

Seems like a fun RP build, but damage seems kind of low since only damage source is from having high strength.

Or is there a better way to get to tempest then taking Dread Pirate in a class with better damage stats. Either way, Dread Pirate does provide three needed feats and would be hard to find a good replacement class.

Thoughts?

Make it barb20, bard3, pirate7 and it is ok damage wise.
Mine is only lv17 yet, but fun to play and looks so cute.
