Rod of Undead Detection: improper description

Noticed on the Rod of Undead Detection it has the following part in the description.
"The rod can be used three times per day, each use lasting up to 10 minutes."
The actual ability on the rod is Use:Detect Undead 1 use/Day.
Given that it's a 'special' item, and the spell is a fairly harmless level 1 spell. Could this potentially be changed to unlimited uses/day.
Considering that there are cheap unlimited attack spell cantrip/level 1 staves for sale in BG.
