Missing Meat - Cooking Bug

Just ran through the bat cave and collected 27 raw bat meats. When I cooked them all I lost all 27 but only gained 10 back.
Best way to solve this until it is fixed is to just drop all other stacks of meat (from a single animal) when you start cooking, and pick them up again after each stack you cooked.
