DSMLock Build (cont'd)

Hi again folks, figured I'd start a new thread instead of necroing from before. I've committed to making a Daggerspell Mage / Warlock build for the character concept. I'll probably go with rogue and SD for 6 levels, too. Wanted some fine tuning help.
1) I'd want to focus on DEX over CHA correct? DSM seems like it's better for blasts than invocation spells.
2) What are the "must have" invocations, shapes, and blasts at high levels?
3) Feat-wise, would you take both improved crit and weapon focus for RTA?
4) Is the fey feat line worth it? I like the synergy with the DR and DC bonuses, and it fits with the character concept. But I'm not sure if it's a waste of 4-5 feats when you get up to a high level.
5) Any other guidance in terms of epic levels would be appreciated!
Thanks

1) Warlocks do not care for what stat you raise. But if you plan to sneak about, go dex.
2) Vitriolic Blast, Eldritch Chain... Do you really need anything else?
3) You might like the increased crit, but you have no need for the weapon focus. (Blindfight....)
4) The more DR you have, the better off you are.
5) Vitriolic Blast and Eldritch Chain slays trolls.

Dex to sneak, cha for DC spells. You can go either way, but yes DSM favors dex since it's a roguish prc.
2) What are the "must have" invocations, shapes, and blasts at high levels?
Hideous blow is required for melee, to make use of sneak attacks, if you want that. Dark premonition, ignore the pyre, flee the scene, invisibility, vitrolic blast, repelling blast are otherwise typical.
3) Feat-wise, would you take both improved crit and weapon focus for RTA?
Weapon focus is rarely needed to hit with a RTA. Improved crit is better.
4) Is the fey feat line worth it? I like the synergy with the DR and DC bonuses, and it fits with the character concept. But I'm not sure if it's a waste of 4-5 feats when you get up to a high level.
They are very expensive and you would make better use of them as a pure warlock (to stack cold iron dr) and with high charisma (for the spell like abilities).

Here's the blueprint I'm thinking about. How's it look?
* What do you think about going for Steadfast?
* Is Lord of All Essences worth it?

I do not think we have that 'Lord of All Essences' on this server.
Hmn... Perhaps you could switch Toughness, Steadfast Determination, and Lord of All Essences with Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration, and Epic Spell Penetration. You would have 'invoker level of 33' to beat spell resistance...

Good call. The character builder didn't let the Spell Penetration line show up for me. I'll have to check in the actual char tester mod. But that was the route I was considering, or using 3 Fey feats for DR.
