anden soulseek has let it be known to thalantyr and halbazzer that he is in possession of a blue diamond. he has enough familiarity with the art to have a vague impression as to how these are used, so he has asked both mages to ensure that they do not mention it to those of evil intent or poor reputation. he will wait a few days to see if there is sufficient interest, otherwise he thinks he may store it away for safekeeping

anyone interested should leave a message with either mage. he has not made the information publicly available though, to ensure that unscrupulous traders without the same convictions do not lay their hands on it


///ooc I won't metagame, but he's neutral and wouldn't want it used to summon demons or devils, so basically no red wizards or obvious necromancers, other than that as long as you're not running about the fai with skeletons I'll assume you can put on a good front. just really for rp flavour. he'll probably have an issue if he sells it to you and sees you running around with a fiend in tow though

Lelande Lloros offers one hundred trade bars to Halbazzer in Baldur's Gate.

Anden gets the message from Halbazzer and asks the mage to pass on the message that the offer will be sufficient, should he receive assurances that it will not be used to summon a being from the lower planes. He explains he will wait 24 hours in case of a better offer, but wishes to let the bidder know that, should one not arrive, the gem will be his.

A middle aged red haired priestess of Chauntea inquires about the blue diamond. "I be interested in your gem, I've a special tome and may be needin yur stone fur it. I be learnin tha path of a summoner, so it would be of great use ta me. What do he think is fair fur such a gem? 120 bags?"

Lelande receives Anden's message. In response, Lelande leaves his own message:
