Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So, here is a randome enough build challenge. How would you create a Stormlord, without using the Stormlord of Talos PRC? There is no alignment or deity restrictions, just focus on the skies and present a build.

Bard (14), Stormsinger (10), Cleric (3), Blackguard (3)

or throwing storms with that 'orb of storms' from beregosts new vendor.

D6/WP10/Hie10/WoD4. CL of 28 isnt terrible. load up with lightning spells. and have frost weapon on your electrical weapon. not sure if the visual effects would stack but if so that would look super cool.

Bard 3/Stormsinger 10/Thaum 5/Druid 12

All caster levels Druid, Akadi as deity. Summons of choice would be Air Elementals preferably with Beckon the Frozen, Elemental Swarm with Air Elementals, drop storms of Vengeance, Whirlwind and then use the cloud form spell to run around relatively immune to whats going on.

Rogue 3/Cleric 7/Darkfire Disciple 10/Hierophant 10, high wisdom, and the fire damage from Darkfire Disciple represents scalding desert winds or something. (Could be a follower of Akadi/Shaundakul/Silvanus/Talos for example.)

I would go for a Druid 12/Warpriest 4/Hierophant 4/Hospitaler 10, Silvanus, and it would get BAB of 26 with caster level of 30.

That could work quite well. Shame about losing the Air Elemental wildshapes though.

My version utilising OOBI and focusing on longbow to strike from afar with the fury of the storm.

Took hospitaler out of my build plan because of the non chaotic requirement. Went the route of war priest instead. Added the wod pretty much for the feats and the electrified weapon effect.

Druid 30.

Elder Air Elemental. (all combat shape shifted)
Buffed to hilt.
Drop epic call lightning, storms of veng, normal call lightning, gusts, ext storm avatar, ext frost weap.
Summons if you want.

Swap out some druid for thaum and get elemental buddy.
Would be cool if you could get elemental companion.

Bardic Storm Lord. Inspirations help, blackguard saves, bardic spellbook for defense, Storm of Vengeance with good DCs.

Pretty much, a Stormlord-esque character should be tough, powerful, a challenge to others. A POWERBUILD! And nothing makes for a powerful build like Bard. Not to forget to mention it's easy RP that requires little musical/lyrical effort, since it's all mechanics anyway.

Well, in my build it was for Evasion. But if you choose Talos specifically over a Fury worshippers, you have to make another choice(s). Though, Cleric by default grants access to divine scrolls and armor/weapon fears before Blackguard levels. Plus the whole "Faithful of X" vibe.

Maybe switch out Cleric for ??

More bard and blackguard?
