Did someone REALLY just delete my Campfire in the Nexus?!!?

Really, that is about as low as things get. That campfire was created under 20 minutes, for sure, so I know it didn't just time out. And now 97 items are gone, thanks to this. There were some valuable stuff in there, and if truly someone of this Community thought this would get some laughs...ha ha. Jerk.

Maybe we need a NPC storage mule in Nexus. Or a NPC that we can talk to that brings us to another room to transfer items.(kinda like Maltz changing apperance room)

to avoid this kind of things happening.

(would be tedious to check the log back to identify who the culprit that stole your 97 items then delete your campfire to cover his tracks)

I muled around this time as well, also using a campfire... And there was a lot of campfires. It could be someone accidentally removing the wrong one and too embarrassed to tell you.

Yes, there were 3 campfires in total around the Nexus...though, removing a campfire be mistake?!?

Yes, Lock, just dropping a pile one atop another is probably safer, come to think of it.

Anyway, I've made a request to the Admins for assistance, if this circumstance can be recovered.

Yes, that kind of mistake is easy to make, I'm afraid.

Steve for the future just throw me a message in game and give me a poke if you need help transferring items. Sorry to hear about your situation. Same goes for everyone who needs a mule. I’m always happy to help out my friends and my community.

I think the idea of an RCR NPC that holds your gear is a great idea, personally, though I don't really RCR much.

You got my condolences...I've got my share of items lost in campfire when I was starting out in this server that wanted me to quit (It was about 100k worth of items and I was only been playing for like a month on my first char). Now they've got horses as well as a teleporter back to Nexus. Should utilize them...

Thanks for the responses, and as well, the many offers of future help. I know there is a risk associated with RCRing, but I've done it sooooo many times without an issue, but this last month, now, I've had two instances of getting ganked.

I've been around a long time and know there are many Players here that through big and small means, take good care of this Community.

Which is why I also get a small shock when goofy shit like this happens!

I had someone hold my gold once. Big mistake. They logged onto a different character. When I asked for my gold back they basically replied "it wasn't that much, go beg someone else for it". They weren't entirely wrong (it was only like less then 10k) but still it was infuriating and taught me a lesson. Now days I take my time and find specific people that are trustworthy.

In the future, if someone steals from you and it's completely out of character like this, please let the DMs know. They probably won't be holding on to their ill-gotten goods for very long.

You can RP a thief, that's fine: But if someone's actually victimizing their co-players out of character, I certainly don't want them to think that's OK here.

Only it literally didn't go down like that. I did log a different character because their presence was required IG. In the meantime, I asked a friend (Tantive) to give you the sum so that I could repay it to them at a later time. I did my best to explain the situation to you, despite being caught up in rp at the time, but you seemed convinced I wanted to victimize you for whatever reason. You also turned down the gold offered by them. It was at this point that I chalked you up as either a troll or a really simple person.
