Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hello,
I have taken a hiatus away from the server and in my attempts to rejoin, I find myself now unable to log in to the server. The character vault shows all my characters from before, but neither them or a newly created character allows me to log in.
my user name is klinx_the_mage and I have had to get a new version of the game with new cd keys.
I hope this is something that can be fixed, I look forward to creating stories in the world of Baldur's Gate

I have the same issue, I was trying out the server with my friend's gog account and now that I got my own, the CD key changed and I can't log in. I'd appreciate some help

I am also getting the same problem. I was using my steam purchase of nwn2 diamond. A few months ago I got a new laptop. After a few problems with my nwn2 install, i uninstalled it, and then went to GoG. I had a previous purchase of Nwn2 so I downloaded that and used the cd keys from that purchase. Now everything works, but when I finished downloaded server files; I get booted after trying to log in with my characters.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

I've been away for quite awhile, but am now looking to help stave off insanity with some good old fashioned video gaming. unfortunately i keep getting booted from the server.

Hey Im Having the same Issue haven't played in a year and had to switch to gog chars are there but same idea i log in and i get booted

Did you make sure your gog cdkeys are in nwncdkey.ini in your game root folder?

Yes, they are there!

So, you have all three cdkeys written into nwncdkey.ini(not with cdkeychanger app, but really opening notepad and writing them there) and when you go to game/multiplayer/direct connect "game.bgtscc.net", you get disconnected with "you have been booted" message, correct?
If yes, i advise you to write a PM to Zanniej (as soon as he answere this topic before) to get actual help, because if everything correct, it's not your side issue.

If you've changed your CD-Keys and you want to use the same account you are gonna have to PM the admins to ask them to change your keys from the database to the new ones you have. The database needs to recognise your CD-Keys as the ones it has attached to itself in order to prevent anyone else logs in with your account now that the head server is long gone.

This is exactly my issue. Old account on an old version of the game (physical DVDs) but I recently installed NWN2 through GOG. I'll PM, thanks!
