So I just want to let everyone know who I have some RP with right now that I will be taking a break...My Dell battery on my ALienware is bad and I need to replace it. It has begun to swell up like a pufferfish and could pop any day now which is bad ju ju if anyone saw that guy who bit his phone battery? YEAH IT IS LIKE THAT!

So for anyone RPing with Danny G'Louvre right now I will have to put that on hold until I can get this issue resolved.....

On a side note peeps DON'T BUY DELL! They are cheap and did not report this issue to their customers and have known about it since they put them out. They also will not support the issue even if under warranty. So just buy someone else.

Lipos are notorious for it especially in drones. Any impact, compression, or shoddy construction can cause it. It is kind of fun watching a thousand dollar custom drone go off though.

Okay fixed it. Just got to wait on a new battery. Computer runs without it so no issue there and I feel 1 million times better without the ticking time bomb under my hands. Will be IG and around for anyone who wants to RP.

I've been using Dell batteries for all of my computer-using life, and they've all worked excellently for me. It sounds like sadly you must have gotten a dud. These things do happen.

Could just be with Alienware... I've never used those.

Same thing happened to my Alienware Laptop in the past. Replaced it, and it was as good as new.
