Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I am trying to find out how the crafting works here. I found books containing recipes but was told it doesn't work that way. Also tried the spell method, with imbue item, etc. and said In Testing. So is there any crafting? And if so how does it work? Thank you.

There is no crafting aside from making wands, scrolls and potions. Some items can be brought to a blacksmith bench (beetle shells and spider legs) and "distilled" into some stuff (potions and more gold)... and I think few animals drop meat that can be cooked, but that's it.

Oh, right. There's also gibberling heart that can be crafted into something like 4 different items.

Aside from that - nothing.
