What is the state of the Church of Kossuth? Besides the affiliation with Red Wizards of Thay—and their Baldur's Gate manifestation—what about the actual Temple...and is there an active clergy/monk order individual/group currently active?

Yeah, it is the cleric domains. Evasion from Water creates priests of Isthishia.

Although the Fire domain is supposed to have the Fire Seeds spell, so you just create those perfected Alchemist Fires while you sit around the campfire, so you can fling them at the soon to be steam priests.

It must be a very lonely Temple, then...(was tempted to say cold and lonely, but.... .

I had multiple kossuthians, but no priests (at least no priests that lived long enough to make an impact). All those characters are currently dead or retired.
