Search text color

Alright so when I search something on the forum the words I search for I highlighted in bright yellow. The words themselves are hard to distinguish from that bright yellow. Maybe I have a crappy monitor or bad eyesight or something but is there any chance that this colow could be changed to something a bit darker? Or maybe set it up so we can toggle it?

I guess I needed someone else to point out to me that this can and should be changed :-P

I just always removed the highlight tag from the URL

I've changed it. Better now?

Oh man, I always had to delete the &highlight portion too, as the yellow was blinding. This is awesome.

Thanks!

For those of us less code savvy how would one remove the color out of this?

Just delete the part starting with the ampersand (&hilit=color)

The part that is named color in Planehopper's example, is your search word. Multiple search words can be highlighted by adding them with a + sign.

Just remove that part :-)

And don't worry you might break stuff... Worst that can happen is you end up at a 404 page (Page not found).
