The bard, mortified by his disastrous appraisal of both the goods he sought and wished to sell, embarrassedly rips his previous poster down and puts up a new one. It reads:

" Anden Soulseek has some valuable goods to sell or trade, namely:

The Ring of the Knight

A suit of mithral full plate which provides a slight fortification to the wit. Alas because of this extra protection it can only be used by those pure of heart

The minimum bid for the ring is 30 bags of gold.

For the plate, if I cannot get an offer which surpasses the market value of some of the unenchanted suits on offer by other traders, I will remove from sale.

Thank you for your consideration.

A. Soulseek"

///ooc Armour is mithral fullplate, +1 to will saves. Only usable by good/umd

"Hello!" Lannia chimes brightly, "I will start the bidding on the dusty tome. 30 bags."

The bard replies with a smile: "I have heard such things can be used to bring forward unnatural creatures to this plane and I could not have this on my conscience. I have deciphered the book and it is no more than a fascinating study on Baldur's Gate history.

A fascinating read, but not what you wanted I think?

Unless you are a student of local history and still want the tome, I have a feeling it belongs in Candlekeep, where such things are treasured.

I hope you're not too disappointed?"

He edits the poster, smiles and heads back to the Inn
