Hello there,
Just a quick question about the ring of might (grants unarmed critical and weapon specialisation unarmed).
I've offered a Ring of the Knight for trade for one of these, but it occurred to me that I've never seen a ring of might in any loot drop from any of my characters. Are they rare on the server? I asked a few people but they didn't know.
In the vanilla game I would imagine the Ring of the Knight as being much more valuable than the other ring, but of course the rarity comes into play.
Do you think it's a good trade, given that there are even rings of might to trade? I'd be definitely happy with the trade, just wondering if anyone else would.
I play a pure monk and having the extra feat and a bit more damage would be most useful.
Also, I've just hit 18 and I'm holding back levelling until I see if I can pick one of these up. Any monk players out there, what would you pick as my last feat. I have LoH, Int Attack, Weapon Focus unarmed, fiery fist, ki step and blindfight. Maybe dodge for the extra 1 ac? Anything better?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Ring of Might
The chances of you making a trade are near 0%
The Ring of Might, which on the server is the "monk's ring", is infinitely more valued, to the point at which most people would not even sell them for any sum of gold (trade has more power). The ring of the knight often goes for around 25-40k, the Monk's ring gets traded for epic items

+1. As far as trades go, one is junk, the other is super rare. I wouldn't trade 100 rings of might for one monks ring.illithid wrote:The chances of you making a trade are near 0%

Wow. I never realised it was that rare! Phew.
Anyway thanks for the replies. I'd seen a few posts before advising people building monks to get the ring, but no-one ever mentioned it was this rare! Cheers for the help.

Re: Ring of Might
and really not worth it anyway... While +2 damage and 5% increase to crit rate is nice, it's by no means a deal breaker. A fist monk should be doing plenty of damage anyway so I wouldn't worry overmuch about it.

Re: Ring of Might
but for sub 16 monks (a number of sacred fist builds) then it becomes significant
