Underdark Pack Animals?

Where do you find them? I've been to both Sshamath and Rockrun and can't seem to find a stablemaster or the like.

In Rockrun there a merchant near the entrance to the palace.

Looked all over there, but I can't find this merchant. Is he meant to be by the Rothes?

Rockrun. Near the prison and the palace. Find my drow if you need directions.
