Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So I was playing around with macros on my mouse software trying to get a macro that would draw my sword then cycle through the appearance changer to change my hip model from sword to just sheath; I Also made a macro to reverse it. It is a bit cumbersome and doesn't always work due to lag.

This got me thinking: It would be cool to have an item that just does this. I meantime that just sets the hip model to the sword or the sheath by toggle. Make one for left hip, one for right hip and one for both to cover all the types of swords. This would be real cool for people to be able to draw and sheath their sword on the character model along with the weapon.

Wouldn't it be risky in combat due to app changer bugs re: duplication or item loss?

It probably won't work in combat since it re-equips your armor when using the changer. If an item did it as a visual effect, like the prop quiver, might be much simpler and more effective.

Wow that is awesome! Is there anyway to get a sword that looks like the elf swords? My character would use the elvish longswords but I like to match it to the sword on her hip. If we had a lager assortment of swords to put on the hip it would add a lot of flavor to the character designs we see in the world.
