1. I've tried to use teleport, but can't seem to get it to work. I have the teleport spell, mark rune, and bought the runes. I have marked one of the runes at the Farmlands, but nothing happens. Am I missing something?
2. Rods/Wands/Potions- Do I need any special skills or feats to create any of these items?
3. What direction should I go with my gear? I want to lvl as a summoner. I found a build that was 21Wiz/5 Thau/4 AM that seems pretty cool. I'm not sure what will most benefit that build though or if that is something that is even a option.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Re: First time Wizard build....I have questions.
1) It has been years since I used teleportation magic, but I think you need to cast the teleport spell on one of the marked runes. There will be a concentration roll which you need to beat.
2) Wands - craft wand feat, potions - brew potion feat. Both require caster level of 5 before those can be taken. (You can meet the requirement with practised spellcaster feat if you are playing a multiclassed character.) I am not sure if brew potion is worth it for an arcanist without Master Alchemist levels.
3) Spells that increase concentration and grant additional spells slots should be a good investment for you. More slots to buff up summons and all that. Perhaps a staff with infinite casts of some low level spell so you can freely aid your summons. But generally speaking, you could just follow your summons under the invisibility spell. You are actually one of the few character types that can make use of those +4 constitution boots rather than seek for dodge boots. More AC is good, but as a wizard, you can reduce the chance of being hit directly.

Thanks for that information! One more question......if I'm multi-classing Wiz/AM/Thuam can I take Spellcasting Prodigy and Practiced SpellCaster Wiz as feats? I thought I read somewhere that is was looked down on to take both those feats?

Re: First time Wizard build....I have questions.
Spellcasting Prodigy is a feat you can only take at first level.
In stock NWN2, getting Practised Spellcaster would actually increase caster level with spellcasting progression PRCs. This has been fixed on on BGTSCC, hence your Wizard/Thaumaturge/Archmage would gain no benefit from it.

Spellslots, concentration and spellcraft as gear. Bonus HP is also good.
There are also some items out there with spell focus or spell penetration feats. They're pretty nice.
