[A warning writ in blue ink can be seen on billboards at the Friendly Arm Inn and billboards in Baldur's Gate.]
((Any inside the inn in the past day would see old man joran borrowing the Inns ink and quill to write these notice))
[parchment]
I bore witness to the tragedies that occurred between Miss Dasha and Miss Elspeth Silverleaf on the Trade way South of Baldur's Gate.
As we all know Miss Dasha offered a civil and safe way to settle their differences, though aggressive it was a formal challenge to put aside bad blood.
As someone who enjoys watching such matters settled, I attended what should have been the end of a feud, but I as well as many others who awaited the start of a duel at the Arena in Baldur's Gate, we were left to see Dasha wait for hours on end for miss Silverleaf.
Miss Dasha stated to the audience that a sending arrived from Miss Silverleaf...that was when everything went downhill.
Miss Dasha was informed by Miss Silverleaf to meet her for their "duel" South of the Friendly Arm Inn, only to prepare a ambush to take Miss Dasha's Life on the Trade way South of The gate!
To describe how such a slaughter begun I will only say that Miss Silverleaf and company of three awaited in the cowardly shadows as assassins would, Striking quick and fast, Killing miss Dasha on the Trade way, and incapacitating her allies.
I chose to bear witness and to spread truth of said events, from this I can collect that:
This proves how Miss Elspeth Silverleaf handles those she once called "Close."
DO NOT BE FOOLED
Deceit, lying in wait in the shadows of the dark, possible hired assassins, ending Dasha's life with a knife stabbed through her throat. Silencing the already fallen...
This Elf woman has shown her true colors and seeks to end arguments with whoever may differ from her opinion with their deaths.
Send word to all you know, this woman should stand trial for such a hideous murder.
May the gods guide you on the roads safely.
Your old friend, Joran Snowden.

A Reply is posted. I Elspeth Silverleaf delined the duel. I had not desire to resort to violence. However, as the Tiefling said in her posting, she attempted go find me and "drag me by my tongue" to force me to fight.
The trifling came with the wild elf Cylissa and the hin Pokey to do violence. I, along with my fiend and ally Aurelia Laurelin, answered this vile attack in kind and the tiefling was killed. The elf and Hin were spare for we do not kill kin nor do we kill poor hin that were mislead by evil tieflings
I have had 2 attempts made on my life by this tiefling and constant harassment for months. She came to do her violence and got what she deserved. The matter is now closed.
Signed
Elspeth Silverleaf

This tiefling Dasha not only hired drow assassins to try and kill Elspeth, which was witnessed, she was also involved in the murder of a friend of hers. On top of this she made repreated, open threats against Elspeth to anyone with ears for several days that she had to duel, or else. Elspeth declined this duel, which is entirely within her rights, and the tiefling should not be able to escape her crimes in such a way. And when Elspeth refused, Dasha and her thugs came to quote "drag her by the tongue" to the arena. What occurred was an act of self defense, with witnesses who actually understand what was going on and what actually happened. Any fool who thinks Dasha is a victim in this has not the senses the gods granted the rest of us.
Signed,
Aurelia Laurelin.

A drunken dwarf stumbled around and picked up one of the nearby notes blowing his nose with it before throwing up in the nearby grass in back of the bulletin of the friendly arm inn. He looked over the blue writing before realizing... “FARKIN ELLS... I cant READ!”

Amber Heart looks at the the dwarf and chuckles while thinking. "what a cute dwarf!". She read some of the leftover notes, and head towards Friendly Arms muttering about the notes. "Kids nowadays, always quarreling with each other". She then shakes her head and continue her daily routine

The Moonlady of the Halls, looking fresh from some battle unknown, pauses to look over the notes, then shakes her head in exasperation. After leaving one of her own, she heads off, oddly with a few chunks of ice bound in her hair.
[parchment]If this happened within Ducal territory, then take this to the Flaming Fists.
Otherwise, please deal with the matter yourselves and stop dragging these skirmishes up all over. There are far more pressing matters to deal within the area than the continued bickering of two or three. If you wish peaceful mediation to resolve differences, the Halls of Inner Light can offer such.
Selune shine Her eternal light and love upon you,
Rania Arowaven, Moonlady of the Halls of Inner Light[/parchment]

Cylissa Tanyathor could be seen walk up to the Friendly Arms Inn billboard with a saddened expression in her face and pin a poorly drawn portrait of Dasha near the other notes. She leaves her hand over the portrait for a few seconds and walks away.

A tall elf in dark green smirks to herself as she notices the notices. She says a short prayer to the Seldarine and passes on.

Lannia, up to her eyeballs in the problems of many, (as any good shaman would be) finds time and replaces the poorly drawn portrait with one of her own from her sketchbook. It is somewhat idealized, perhaps the person Lannia saw beneath the anger, brashness, and alcoholism. She shakes her head ruefully.
"Dasha's was a doomed existence," Lannia muttered to herself, "A person stumbling in wicked darkness who found herself in over her head... Right where her temper and stubbornness lead her. Were it not Elspeth, the bear spirit within her or those darker elements she consorted with that would have been her end. That said..."
She takes a breath, "I frequently felt as I tried to give her guidance out of the dark that she was a child. A wounded child who gave up on herself long ago... Poor thing. I make no excuses for the death threats against Elspeth, which I have confrimed, nor the hired hitmen I have also confirmed. I bare no ill will against Elspeth who undoubtedly had to take action to protect her own life. I only lament that I believe Dasha had a heart beneath it, and lashed out like any abandoned child would."
She continues the monologue like last rights over a body. She seems to speak less for an audience and more for the care of the spirit laid to rest, "No child outwardly, the world cries justice for her foul deeds, and the world has it... So let no further angry and bitter words be said over her grave. Instead, reflect, that perhaps it didn't have to be this way. Perhaps if intervention had come sooner, if kindness had been less spared... Who might she have been?"
The shaman makes a mixture of sail and oil and draws a circle around the portrait of Dasha, anointing it, "Be released now, Dasha. May the next life be kinder to you."
She touches the mixture to the drawing over both ears and her heart,"And may you be granted the heart and ears of the wise so that next time you listen to and heed those friends you have... You did have them, loving you, and wishing you would turn around. Peace to you, child."
She walks off wearily, her duty done. Those that know her would note the distinct lack of her normal skipping gate. Troubling times on the coast seem to be spreading her a bit thin. Those who know her best, know she would have performed the same rights and lamented the passing of Elspeth if the situation were reversed.
