Open book prop not saving DMFI description

I use the open book prop in my rp at times. I know awhile back I had DMFI'd a description on the book explaining what was on the pages for those who examine it. At some point I placed the book down and the description completely disappeared. I can use the DMFI tool to rewrite the description, it stays while it's still in my inventory, but as soon as I put it down it's erased.

I'm not sure if this bug is the same with all props or just the open book. Also, I do apologise if this is a known bug.
