Shield Bash vs Combat Focus

Hi guys, i'm in the business of making a Man at Arms for the server and was stuck deciding whether to spend my bonus feats on the shield bash line of feats or the combat focus line of feats.
To my knowledge, challenge does not affect shield bash attack or damage.
I have used shield bash before and found, with the proper investment, to be able to stunlock many enemies. Combat focus appeals as something new and doesn't require me to beat any saves.
Can I hear your thoughts on both trees?

Written using my phone, apologies for the format.

I'd recommend the shield bash line.

The Combat Focus one needs a serious quality boost, in my opinion. It's fiddly since you can only start it mid-combat (Combat Strike needs another round-wasting click), extremely short duration (which makes the regen hardly worth it), and has a long cooldown to boot. And the HP info it can potentially give appears in the combat log (rather than over the heads of foes) and is hard to read or make use of during the few rounds of focus - it isn't even clear which enemy each entry refers to. All in all, I regret having spent 4 feats on it in my one build that has it...

I don't regret Combat Focus on my wisdom based ranger.

I'd pick combat focus feats for the sustainability and versatility.

For all 4 feats you get 14 rounds on followed by 21 rounds off. So 1, minute 24 seconds with 2 minute, 6 second cooldown. I would say that is rather fair to have +4 Will saves, Regen: 4 and 20% Concealment or +4 Attack Bonus. They're actually quite good, overall. Even without Combat Strike you get +4 Will saves, 4 Regen and 15% Concealment for 13 rounds with a cooldown of 22 rounds.

Shield Bash and Shield Slam are also solid feats to pick, but IMO require a larger investment (Shield Bash, Shield Slam, Agile Shield Fighter and the shield specialization feats). IMO if you've already done the Shield bash line then Combat Focus is a nice difference. You just need to remember to activated it every 3 1/2 minutes... :P

If you have a high-STR build AND you have full UMD, then take Shield Bash.

You can get 20% Concealment from potions/scrolls and use Heal potions when it most counts (or Vigorus Cycle potions).

Better yet, get high Heal skills and you'll be able to apply better healing during combat, which is just phenomenally stupid, if you ask me, but it is what it is and no one seems brave enough to fix it, even Valefort, who is pretty good at those things...usually. *zing*

And then also just pop Heroism or Gr. Heroism, which are often Player-sold on the Consignment shop NPC these days, for peanuts.

Thanks for your opinions and insights, i've decided to go with combat focus for the sustainability and feat-economony, also that i've never tried it before so it should keep things interesting.
On the wiki it is not explicitly stated that the Combat Focus feats can be taken using MaA bonus feat slots, can you guys confirm/deny whether or not they'd be available? Or will I need to use standard feats?

I do not think you can get Combat Focus with Man-at-Arms bonus feats. I could be wrong though, and the wiki out of date. But what other feats have thought of getting? Because it might be possible to get Combat Focus with regular feats and Shield Bash or other with your class bonus feats.
