For you MAA experts out there

Just curious how people sequence combat actions for their Man-at-Arms characters. Like in terms of feats and skills, how do you throw down your moves? With so many MAA feats on cooldown timers, it can be tricky.
I have my MAA built with Shield Charge for knockdown, which is usually successful. So I typically lead off with Challenge + Shield Charge, then do something like: Daunting Challenge + Demoralize Opponent to fear the opponent into running, in which case I run it down with another Shield Charge.
For longer fights, I'll toss out a Shield Slam for a stun and/or a Knockdown. Sometimes I'll use Taunt, for a -2 AC debuff, but seems not the best use of my actions since it only lasts 5 rounds.
And sometimes it seems best to just sit back and let Shield Bash do its thing. I'm still trying to get the hang of when to mix in other actions (per above) because it seems important to time things just right or Shield Bash doesn't trigger.
Any tips to offer on how best to time/sequence MAA actions? Like wait for Shield Bash to go off, then perform action? Still experimenting so really not sure. I suppose I should clarify this is more for fighting mobs than PvP. Thanks in advance for any feedback!
