Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hi everyone!

I've logged in for the very first time yesterday and had a little bit of a issue with server crash, that is I've lost almost all the xp I'd just put together working very hard in the fields, catching rats and the sort of big businesses. Can anyone help me to understand how to avoid losing all the items and xp you got when the server gets re-started?

Using PC Tools (right click your Toon, select Tools, then a GUI will appear on Screen) will allow you to manually save your Character. Most people use this often especially after finding or trading for some Item.

However, if there is a Server Crash, it most often will always fail to save your recent XP gain. There is nothing one can do about this, in my experience. The Server auto-saves quite a lot of information, at short intervals. XP gain does not seem like one of them (or at least, anything gained in like an hour or even since the last successful Server restart).

I've lost tens of thousands of XP over the years, because of Server crashes!

Alright, well, I'll use the saving tool and surrender to xp losses
