I've never had a character with an eye patch before. Now I do. And let me tell you, there's a lot of profiling taking place in BGTSCC. People think just because you wear an eye patch you're up to no good. Specifically the guards. You can get arrested for that! Here Vaelor was, minding his own business with a patch over his sightless eye (it can make some folks uncomfortable). I go afk for a minute, come back and he's been wrongfully locked away for wearing a mask in public!


Seriously though, can we adjust this script? I can't imagine eyepatches are a criminal offense in a city. Or anywhere for that matter.

Ok, that's bizarre. I know a number of people who have eye patches (Wren's married to the highest profile one-eyed guy on the server, for gods sake) and I have never, ever seen the guards make a peep about that.

It's not the eye patch. If you used the appearance tool, and the head slot was a full face helmet to start with.... it will always be a full face helmet, unless you do some fooling around with the mechanics.

That is why people with full masks still enter FAI and not challenged.

All you need is to change the basic model of eyepatch to hat or something similar via old appearance changer, and then change the model to eyepatch with appearance kit.

Create eyepatch using the OLD appearance changer. Then recolor it with the new one.
